Our natural light from skylights saves us 50% on our electricity use.
We have also installed new T-5 lighting inside the shop that use 40% less energy than the conventional Metal Halide lights of yesteryear.
At night we have chosen new LED lighting that uses 75% less electricity and have bulbs that last for 15 years.
Recapture Rainwater
As a replenishment idea, we have uniquely captured all of the rainwater from carports and roofs of the building and are able to store this in an underground tank .
This water is then replenished into the ground water table and is also used to irrigate our drought tolerate landscaping.
